Who is Edward Gonzalez?

San Jose - July 19, 2010 -- Edward Gonzalez is an American Patriot who is running for Congress in the California 16th Congressional District to replace incumbent career politician and Obama supporter, Zoe Lofgren.
Edward wants to repeal as much as possible of the set of economically damaging programs that have been put in place with Lofgren's sponsorship and support, including especially Obamacare.
Edward is not alone. He is joined by tens of thousands of candidates and activists across the country who are working for the same cause: to direct America away from the brink of economic and financial ruin.
Edward was raised in Connecticut. After serving as a Marine in Iraq and advancing to the rank of Captain, he and his wife settled in San Jose. Edward currently works as the director of an elementary school.
Edward is well educated in political philosophy. His favorite authors include Leonard Reed, Davy Crockett, Ludwig von Mises, Lew Rockwell, Henry Hazlitt, Friedrich Hayek, Murray Rothbard, Gene Callahan, and Ayn Rand.
Like most voters in Silicon Valley, Edward is conservative on economic issues and liberal on social issues. His opponent has never failed to support Obama's attempts to move this country away from its libertarian roots.
